Screening for Plagiarism Policy

NADI Journal (Nyata Dedikasi Indonesia) upholds a high standard of academic originality. All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism screening before being considered for peer review.

1. Plagiarism Check

  • Each manuscript is checked using official plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools).

  • Manuscripts with high similarity scores may be rejected or returned to authors for revision.

2. Similarity Threshold

  • ≤ 20% similarity is generally acceptable, provided all citations and references are properly documented.

  • Similarity > 20% will be further evaluated to determine potential plagiarism, duplication, or self-plagiarism.

3. Authors’ Responsibility

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the manuscript is original.

  • All quotations and paraphrased content must include proper references.

  • Any form of plagiarism is considered a violation of publication ethics and may result in manuscript rejection or retraction.

4. Publication Ethics

  • Plagiarism screening is conducted prior to peer review.

  • The final decision on publication eligibility rests with the editor, based on the screening results and peer review.
